Rescued Toys Reimagined in a Rococo Romance Tin
This piece from my Toys R Art series is packed with playful detail, all hidden behind the elegant cover of a vintage rococo-style tin. The front features a romantic scene, complete with delicate floral scrolls and an ornate frame — but lift the lid and it’s chaos in technicolour.
Inside, I’ve packed rescued toys from my Toy Amnesty, arranged into a joyful jumble of characters, critters, and tiny plastic oddities. From cartoon icons to forgotten miniatures, each one is sealed in forever, telling its own little story among the crowd.
It hangs on the wall or props up beautifully on a shelf. Either way, it’s a sweet and surreal contrast between old-world charm and joyful childhood clutter.
