Trolls in a Dome – A Glittering Nostalgic Display
This piece from my Toys R Art series is a joyful celebration of kitsch and childhood nostalgia. I’ve taken a collection of vintage troll dolls, each one given a little bit of sparkle, and arranged them under a glass dome to create a quirky, eye-catching display.
Their wild, colourful hair is topped with rhinestones, vintage brooches, and costume jewellery, adding a playful sense of glamour. I’ve placed smaller troll figures around the base, nestled among a scattering of crystals and trinkets, giving the whole piece a sense of chaotic charm.
The dome itself has a sleek gold base, making it perfect for displaying on a shelf or side table. It’s a fun, one-of-a-kind piece that brings together retro vibes with a touch of bling.
